I love watching the ebb and flow of trends, some of them are fly by night and some are like long term relationships; here to stay, at least for a while. The influence of tribal styling in fashion is one of the more permanent influences and it's not surprising, it's what happens when we become more and more a global village. It's the allure of a mystical land, untouched by modern civilization. The promise of a capsule culture yet untouched by the corrupted hand of commercialism that will yield something unique, genuinely handmade and authentic. Who wouldn't be enchanted by such ideas.
